HAPPY INAUGURATION DAY 2009!

We made it. Took freakin' ever, but we made it. And it all goes down tonight (/at 11:30 today...). Huge snowflakes are gently cascading from a blank white sheet of paper sky and there's a fire in the fireplace and Ingrid on the music player. And I have a cup of tea. And tonight I'm getting an eye exam for my new pairs of glasses!!! My eternal spring of hope to be ignored for the rest of my life has sprung anew when I remembered the old adage, "Boys don't make passes at girls who wear glasses." Fingers crossed. Leave me alone, you unwashed masses! Gosh. I get mobbed so often, it's ridiculous.

You guys think these are too pop-indie? I mean, all of the art kids have over-sized glasses these days. When I told Sean I wanted Clark Kent glasses he grimaced. Grimaced! Because they're so poopular now. And we wouldn't want to be following some stupid indie-tastic trend even though we may have wanted Clark Kent glasses since we first saw a Superman cartoon, e.g. a decade ago (give or take a year). -_-
